We invite you to join us for an evening with Jose Antonio Vargas, Pulitzer-award winner journalist and immigration advocate.
Jose Antonio Vargas is CEO and founder of “Defining America” and the #EmergingUS project. He is a national leader in the movement to raise the conversation around the challenges and contributions of the undocumented community in the United States.
Several organizations that support the immigrant community will be tabling at the event from 6:30-7:30. Mr. Vargas will begin presenting at 7:30 p.m. Please note that doors will be closed after this time.

Berkeley City College will be hosting a reception on Thursday, June 6, 2019, to celebrate the second anniversary of the Undocumented Community Resource Center (UCRC). We invite you to show your support of UCRC’s ongoing activities including undocu-ally training and leadership development/training of undocumented students.
The UCRC provides a safe space in where undocumented students and community members can discuss their issues and embrace their identities. We also provide academic support, financial support, and mental health support, along with other equitable resources for members to successfully meet their academic goals.
